JST Connector

Overview#

JST connectors are used to provide a secure, semipermanent connection between two different electronic components — such as a wire with a JST connector to a PCB with a JST socket.

JST connectors are keyed, which means that they have plastic tabs that only allow for insertion in one direction. This is especially helpful because it helps avoid installing a connector in the wrong orientation by mistake.
